Role Summary and Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee daily gap analyses with catch-up strategies to ensure production targets are met.
- Execute monthly Pareto chart analyses and apply 5 Why root cause analysis to identify issues.
- Maintain the Obeya board, showcasing key operational metrics for transparent communication.
- Create and sustain leader check sheets to enhance supervisory oversight.
- Conduct training programs for team leaders and evaluate their effectiveness regularly.
- Monitor changes related to the 4M principles—Man, Machine, Material, and Method—to maintain process integrity.
- Carry out monthly stock verifications and document findings for audit and control purposes.
- Lead closure of internal audit gaps and oversee Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementations.
- Engage in Red Bin analysis and initiate necessary corrective measures.
- Perform expiry audits to ensure all materials meet compliance requirements.
- Continuously update and manage the skill matrix for all team members to track competencies and training needs.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- Monitor, track, and report on team KPIs and performance indicators to drive accountability.
- Observe production trials firsthand and compile detailed trial reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and foster ongoing improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
The ideal candidate will be a Production Control Supervisor or Engineer experienced in manufacturing environments. Eligibility requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
