Role Overview
This full-time position for a Product Manager is based in Lagos with a hybrid work arrangement allowing remote work on some days. The role entails full ownership of the product lifecycle including defining vision, gathering requirements, coordinating design and engineering efforts, and managing a smooth launch. Responsibilities extend to prioritizing stakeholder and user needs, keeping the product roadmap current, and ensuring alignment across cross-disciplinary teams. Continuous monitoring of product metrics, analysis of feedback, and iterative enhancement of features to maximize usability and value are expected. Collaboration with senior leadership ensures that products align with strategic goals and deliver real value to clients and users.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in product management.
- Background in delivering digital products across diverse sectors such as FinTech, Enterprise SaaS, EdTech, and E-commerce.
- Proven capability to manage multiple products or client projects concurrently while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.
- Strong expertise in product discovery, authoring product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, workflow models, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience collaborating in Agile teams that include Engineering, Design, QA, Business Development, and Project Management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with decisiveness, ownership, and accountability.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Product Management certification is an added advantage.
Additional Desired Skills
- Practical knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance workflows.
- Experience working with API-driven products and third-party software integrations.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Jira, ClickUp, Postman, and AI-powered productivity applications.
