Product Management Assistant

About the Role

As a Product Management Assistant, you will energize the development of user-centered e-commerce features aimed at expanding our customer base, boosting engagement, and enhancing the browsing experience across site and app.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive execution of an established product roadmap by managing milestones and monitoring key performance indicators.
• Analyze market trends, conduct customer research, engage directly with the platform, and review business data to interpret both customer and commercial requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business partners, user experience designers, engineering, and analytics teams to define, create, and launch new product features and platform improvements.
• Develop detailed discovery briefs and comprehensive product requirements documentation.
• Assist in setting and documenting Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for product initiatives.
• Work with product analysts to create, implement, and analyze results from A/B testing campaigns.
• Maintain clear communication channels and set expectations effectively among internal stakeholders.
• Cultivate a respectful, inclusive environment that fosters genuine connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong foundational knowledge of product management processes including roadmap planning, requirement gathering, and managing product lifecycle stages.
• A customer-focused perspective paired with a strong passion for understanding user behaviors and transforming these insights into engaging e-commerce experiences.
• Data-driven decision-making skills, utilizing analytics, key metrics, and A/B tests to inform and refine product choices.
• Proven ability to partner effectively across diverse teams such as engineering, UX, analytics, and business units to deliver product solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the agility to handle priorities and manage product delivery timelines in a dynamic work environment.
• Natural curiosity and problem-solving aptitude, capable of methodical root-cause analysis and navigating ambiguity in complex problem scenarios.
• Clear and concise communication skills, adept at managing stakeholder expectations and uniting teams around common goals.
• A growth-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for keeping pace with industry trends, technology advancements, and innovative methodologies.

Qualifications and Other Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience relevant to the role is preferred.
• Physical requirements include regular sitting, talking, hearing, and use of hands/fingers; occasional movement and reaching; near vision capabilities are necessary.
