Product Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and rapidly launch user-facing MVPs using iterative validation to gauge user impact.
• Create applications that make AI-driven tools accessible and practical for end users.
• Integrate external data sources such as health platforms, electronic health records, and biological databases.
• Convert complex AI outputs into straightforward, user-friendly, and actionable interfaces.
• Prototype new product ideas, test them with users, and refine solutions swiftly based on feedback.
• Own the full development of applications to free the core team to focus on AI advancements.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and architecture to deployment and ongoing improvements.
• Handle technical uncertainties by building viable solutions amidst evolving technology and incomplete specifications.
• Collaborate across technical and product teams to pinpoint opportunities and build meaningful user experiences.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Experienced in delivering products actively used by customers or end users.
• Strong full-stack engineering expertise with emphasis on frontend development and enhancing user experience.
• Adept at quickly prototyping, iterating, and deploying production-ready software.
• Capable of working with complex, inconsistent, or undocumented APIs and external data sources.
• Product-oriented mindset focused on addressing user needs rather than only technical problems.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid development cycles.
• Skilled at translating technical complexities into simple and intuitive user interfaces.
• Experience designing interfaces for AI or machine learning systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with healthcare APIs, health data platforms, fitness trackers, or personal analytics tools is desirable.
• Interest in biology, health tech, AI, or emerging scientific applications is a bonus.
• Background in design or strong UI/UX skills would be beneficial.
