Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Procurement Process & Systems Analyst for our Calgary headquarters. This project-driven role focuses on enhancing procurement processes and systems, working alongside various teams to review and improve current methods and facilitate adoption of new technologies and workflows using tools like Oracle Cloud and SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate procurement workflows to spot inefficiencies and align with industry best practices.
- Assist in procurement system upgrades by gathering needs, mapping processes, testing, and managing integration.
- Create and update documentation, including procedures, training resources, and user manuals.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to stakeholders regarding procurement tools and business applications.
- Partner with cross-departmental teams to communicate solutions and meet project goals.
- Handle multiple priorities effectively, ensuring attention to detail and accountability in delivering outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and SharePoint platforms.
- Excellent writing, documentation, customer engagement, and stakeholder interaction capabilities.
- Ability to explain business processes and IT solutions clearly across organizational levels.
- Strong interest in leveraging technology, ERP systems, and automation to optimize procurement operations.
- High-level analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of purchasing policies and a continuous improvement mindset aimed at cost reduction.
- Change management expertise with proven ability to work independently and achieve tangible improvements.
- Professional credentials such as ISM, CIPS, PMP, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
Job Details and Working Conditions
- Permanent full-time role based in Calgary Corporate Office.
- Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
