Procurement Lead - Facilities Management

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to manage strategic sourcing within a global leader in Integrated Facilities Management. This senior role involves leading procurement efforts across a large enterprise account, focusing on commercial value, supplier performance, and procurement transformation. The position is remote within the Republic of Ireland with occasional travel to Dublin.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for a major Facilities Management account.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for both Hard and Soft FM services.
• Manage, coach, and grow a high-performance procurement team promoting best practices and continuous enhancement.
• Collaborate with senior client leaders, Account Directors, and operations to align procurement priorities with business needs.
• Handle complex tender processes, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, and awarding of contracts.
• Achieve challenging annual cost-saving goals while maintaining service quality and operational excellence.
• Promote supplier performance through contract management, governance, and KPI monitoring.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage supplier onboarding, compliance, and relationships throughout contract lifecycles.
• Support contract mobilisation and transitions to ensure operational readiness.
• Deliver executive reports on procurement KPIs, savings, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify and implement procurement process and system improvements.
• Coordinate with regional teams to maintain consistent procurement standards across locations.

Required Expertise

• Extensive experience in Facilities Management or related indirect procurement services.
• Knowledge across Hard FM sectors including Mechanical and Electrical, HVAC, Fire and Security, Building Services, Water Treatment, Lifts.
• Experience with Soft FM categories such as Cleaning, Catering, Waste Management, and Security.
• Understanding of Construction, Fit-Out, or Technical Services procurement.
• Proven leadership in strategic sourcing and complex procurement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence abilities with senior-level communication skills.
• Experience managing procurement teams in matrix or multinational structures.
• Track record of delivering cost savings and enhancing supplier performance.
• Mastery in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Combines strategic vision with practical delivery focus.
