Processing Officer - Forklift Operator

Role Overview

Join NZ Post at their brand new facility on Tomoana Road in Hawke's Bay as a Processing Officer responsible for sorting, organizing, and dispatching parcels and freight. This role prominently includes operating a forklift for up to six hours per shift in a dynamic environment focused on delivering parcels across New Zealand.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Work Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Earn $26.75 per hour plus forklift operation allowance
• Work at a newly opened, purpose-built site

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and consolidate parcels and freight efficiently
• Operate forklift safely and professionally during shifts
• Maintain health and safety standards while working

Candidate Profile

• Must hold an F endorsement, current OSH certificate, and restricted driver license
• Capable of physical labour including lifting items up to 25 kilograms
• Detail-oriented with good geographical awareness
• Committed to teamwork and maintaining a safe working environment
• Available to work the specified weekday schedule
