Post Close Operations Analyst

Role Overview

This position involves managing post-close operational processes for various private market fund types including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge funds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for comprehensive fund lifecycle management ensuring timely and accurate execution of fund activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee post-close operational processes for private market funds and alternative investment vehicles.
• Monitor and execute fund cycle events such as Capital Calls, Distributions, Redemptions, and Subscriptions.
• Perform reconciliations of cash, positions, and Net Asset Values (NAV) to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all fund activities are promptly and accurately recorded in accounting and fund administration systems.
• Support preparation of financial statements and investor reporting related to post-closure activities.
• Assist in onboarding new investors and structuring new fund entities.
• Review fund-related documentation including partnership and subscription agreements.
• Validate NAV calculations, investment valuations, and income recognition processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, Alternative Investment Operations, or Private Market Operations.
• In-depth understanding of fund lifecycle management, investor servicing, and transaction processing.
