About the Role

As a Portfolio Management Analyst on the Capital Markets team, based in Charlotte, NC, you will be responsible for managing the data infrastructure and reporting for Palmetto's active financing portfolios that include solar lease, power purchase agreements (PPA), and battery storage transactions. Reporting directly to the Manager, Capital Markets, you will build and maintain comprehensive, audit-ready reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables for ongoing financing portfolios.
• Create reporting frameworks for newly closed deals by collaborating with deal execution and legal teams.
• Analyze portfolio performance metrics and communicate key insights to leadership and investors.
• Maintain organized and audit-compliant records of all financing agreements.
• Serve as a primary contact for investor reporting questions, preparing materials for calls and annual reviews.
• Collaborate with the Capital Markets Manager to ensure investor communications are precise and timely.
• Identify inefficiencies in existing reporting systems and develop automated, scalable solutions.
• Enhance data flows among internal systems to ensure accurate and timely input for reports.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric and other business intelligence tools for creating repeatable reporting workflows.
• Incorporate AI-assisted tools and automation to optimize reporting quality and reduce manual effort.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in structured finance, asset management, portfolio reporting, or similar analytical positions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex models and data manipulation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data effectively to investors and senior management.
• Highly self-motivated and organized, capable of managing tasks independently.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in solar energy, clean technology, or consumer financial services.
• Familiarity with tax equity, securitization, or structured finance products.
• Skills in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence platforms.
• Experience using AI tools to automate or enhance reporting and data workflows.
• Understanding of investor reporting requirements for institutional and tax equity stakeholders.
