Role Overview

The full-time Photographer will work on-site in Otun, managing all aspects of photo shoot execution. Responsibilities include planning shoots, setting up lighting, choosing locations, and directing subjects to realize the desired visual outcomes. Key duties comprise capturing images for client projects, selecting the best shots, and performing fundamental post-processing and editing to meet quality criteria. The role demands liaising with clients to grasp their visions, equipment maintenance, organizing files efficiently, assisting studio operations, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance the studio’s portfolio. Ensuring a professional and inclusive environment throughout client engagements is essential.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven proficiency in photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and camera handling in diverse environments such as studios, outdoor settings, and events.
• Experience with photo editing tools like Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop for basic post-production work.
• Excellent client interaction skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the capability to understand and fulfill client needs.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple shoots, maintaining photographic equipment, and handling digital assets effectively.
• Availability to work full time on-site in Otun, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend assignments.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to meeting deadlines and delivering professional-quality results.
• Previous experience in portrait, event, or commercial photography preferred; a portfolio of recent work is a must.
• Formal education or training in photography, visual arts, or related disciplines is advantageous but not required.
