About Wave
Wave is on a mission to transform Africa into the first cashless continent. In 2017, more than half of Sub-Saharan Africa's population lacked access to banking due to high fees, distant branches, and limited card usage. This led people to keep savings in unsafe ways, rely on expensive lenders, and struggle with cash payments. Wave provides financial services that are free of account fees, instantly accessible, and widely accepted—offering a mobile app launched initially in Senegal for easy cash deposits, withdrawals, and both peer-to-peer and business payments. The company now serves millions across nine countries and continues to expand rapidly.

- Oversee the internship program by coordinating with departments for hiring, onboarding, mentoring guardians, and intern offboarding, whilst ensuring a comprehensive and impactful experience for interns.
- Facilitate Short Term and Long Term Assignments by aligning offers, managing benefits, coordinating deployment logistics, and supporting employees on assignment in collaboration with People Partners to maintain consistent policies.
- Maintain current, documented program guidelines and proactively identify opportunities for new or expanded programming, including introducing new tiers, cohort designs, or entering new markets.
