Role Summary
The People Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operational tasks within the People Operations function. This position ensures meticulous handling of employee data, documentation, onboarding procedures, recruitment coordination, compliance activities, and talent development records. The coordinator collaborates closely with HR leadership, the Talent Development Director, Talent Acquisition teams, and organizational leaders to enhance employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee new hire paperwork and organize onboarding logistics.
- Monitor employee lifecycle events such as promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations.
- Manage employee files and ensure proper document retention.
- Facilitate policy administration and internal communications.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance reporting is up-to-date.
- Coordinate recruitment activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and logistics for recruiting events.
- Compile and analyze recruiting metrics and reports.
- Track continuing professional education (CPE) requirements, learning updates, certifications, and training completions.
- Maintain records within the learning management system and training documentation.
- Organize leadership development initiatives, workshops, and training sessions.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports on headcount, turnover, recruiting, training, and workforce statistics.
- Support various People Operations projects and special initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to senior HR leaders with project management, meeting preparation, and follow-up activities.
- Be available for occasional overtime requirements throughout the year.
- Assist with annual processes such as employee surveys, performance reviews, and compensation planning and implementation.
- Identify and suggest improvements to People Operations workflows and employee engagement.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree with focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in People Operations within professional services.
- Experience in supporting recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee lifecycle management, and reporting is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience working with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, learning management systems, and other HR technology platforms.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in tasks.
- Capability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of discretion in managing sensitive information.
- Process-focused with an inclination toward continuous improvement.
- Ability to understand and align with LSL’s vision.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving.
- Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively with minimal supervision in demanding environments.

Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.
Salary: The hourly wage ranges from $31 to $38, categorized as non-exempt status. The actual pay can vary based on experience, skill set, knowledge, and location. Along with base pay, eligible employees receive discretionary bonuses and comprehensive benefits if scheduled for 30 or more hours per week.
Work Environment: This role operates in a typical indoor office setting.
