Position Overview

The Patient Qualification Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service and relevant product details to patients and providers, ensuring patients feel listened to and valued. The specialist serves as an advocate to convert dissatisfied patients into loyal supporters, aids field teams with timely insights, and constantly works to enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with Field, Operations, and Sales teams by providing constructive feedback that helps deliver superior service.
• Analyze and address frequent complaints by identifying trends and coordinating preventive solutions across departments.
• Initiate proactive efforts to refine the overall patient experience.
• Support and promote a positive company culture and employee engagement initiatives that reflect core organizational values.
• Review patient orders and documentation nationwide to ensure compliance with health insurance requirements and facilitate prompt patient care.
• Request necessary health plan authorizations by electronic or verbal communication.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with leadership through effective partnership and communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare or health insurance preferred.
• Ability to prioritize patient needs, acting proactively and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills and capacity to collaborate across multiple functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that foster transparent and clear information sharing.
• Enthusiasm and passion for health and aiding others, serving as a positive example.
• Strong relationship-building skills to influence and network effectively within the organization.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word.
• English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Competent mathematical skills for understanding and managing spreadsheet data.
• Physical ability to perform job-related tasks including prolonged sitting or standing, occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), and other movements as required in a home office setting.

Work Conditions and Other Details

• Fully remote role requiring a distraction-free home workspace during scheduled hours.
• The position requires residency and work location within the United States; company equipment must not be taken abroad without authorization.

Compensation

The expected hourly pay ranges from $17 to $18, depending on relevant experience, education, skills, and location.
