Painter and Polisher

About the Role

Radisson Collection seeks a skilled Painter and Polisher to join their property maintenance team in Riyadh. This prestigious hotel brand is known for combining local character with modern luxury, offering guests and staff an inspiring environment. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for both painting and polishing tasks, maintaining the high visual standards expected throughout guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house at a luxury property.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly prepare interior and exterior surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and repairing prior to application of paint or polish.
• Apply paints, varnishes, sealants, and various finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or polishing tools as appropriate for different surfaces.
• Polish and finish woodwork, furniture, and fixtures to restore or enhance their appearance.
• Perform minor repairs such as patching walls, sanding damaged areas, and making basic carpentry adjustments.
• Inspect areas regularly to identify wear, discoloration, or damage, and conduct fixes and touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and materials utilized, in line with established brand standards.
• Work closely with maintenance, housekeeping, and other teams to coordinate tasks with minimal disruption.
• Follow company and regulatory safety guidelines, ensuring safe use of materials, equipment, and protective gear.

Key Requirements

• Applicants must currently reside in Saudi Arabia and be able to provide a valid, transferable Iqama for immediate transfer.
• Availability to start work as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competence in surface preparation, paint, varnish, and polish application.
• Expertise with different paints, stains, sealants, and finishing materials, and their respective application and curing methods.
• Familiarity with basic property maintenance and minor carpentry repairs.
• Ability to understand and follow work orders, technical manuals, and safety procedures.
• Commitment to health and safety, including organized workspaces and personal protective measures.
• Previous experience in a hotel, property maintenance, or a luxury setting is highly preferred.
• Strong time management, reliability, and capability to work independently or as part of a team, including on flexible schedules.
• Basic spoken English; additional language skills common in Riyadh are a plus.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in painting or property maintenance is advantageous.
