About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily and strategic operations of the Assembly and Moulding production departments, ensuring strict adherence to company policies. Your focus will be on delivering excellence in safety, quality, service, and cost-efficiency. You will champion long-term operational planning and drive programs focused on continuous improvement, utilizing methodologies such as 6S, SQDC, Lean principles, and Principle-Based Management. As a pivotal member of the Operations Team, you will report regularly at monthly cross-functional meetings with site leadership and senior executives, fostering collaboration and accountability throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage procedures for planning, scheduling production, and manpower allocation, adapting plans as required.
  • Implement and maintain information systems to gather, analyze, and report operational KPIs on a weekly basis, leading review meetings accordingly.
  • Establish effective internal communication channels to promote feedback, address issues, and encourage two-way dialogue among teams.
  • Champion Operational Excellence and lean/visual management initiatives across value streams while embedding “Right First Time” quality principles.
  • Continuously review operational systems and schedules to implement cost-saving process improvements, define performance targets, and address any negative trends.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects including CDPE, provide problem-solving leadership, and allocate resources to meet specified revenue and EBITDA targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and Environmental Health & Safety standards; maintain and enhance health and safety systems while exemplifying compliant behaviors.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, participate in CAPA, complaint reviews, deviations, change controls, audits, and non-conformance material reviews ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain a robust training framework, ensure appropriate technical skills within teams, and direct employee recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management aligned with company frameworks.
  • Foster a positive, adaptable culture aligned with Corporate Market Based Management principles, celebrating achievements and embracing expanded roles as necessary.
