Role Summary

The Operations Director role is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing daily operations across manufacturing, supply chain management, and service delivery sectors. The individual in this role will develop and execute operational processes, analyze KPIs, and promote continuous improvement initiatives to uphold quality, optimize efficiency, and manage costs effectively. Collaboration with multifunctional teams for production scheduling, resource distribution, vendor management, and fulfilling customer commitments is essential. Additionally, the role entails budget supervision, workflow optimization, compliance with safety and quality standards, and spearheading operational projects aligned with strategic development goals. The Operations Director will also mentor team leaders, ensure transparent communication, and represent the operations function in leadership meetings and customer engagements.

Key Qualifications

• Proficiency in Operations Management including process development, production scheduling, and enhancing operational performance.
• Strong analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making, KPI monitoring, and problem-solving via root cause analysis.
• Effective team leadership skills encompassing coaching and fostering collaboration across diverse functions.
• Expertise in budgeting for managing costs, resource allocation, and financial forecasting.
• A strong focus on customer service to guarantee dependable delivery and maintain positive client relationships.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial machinery, or material handling operations is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and self-motivation to perform effectively in a remote working environment.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business, or a pertinent discipline is required; advanced degrees or certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP add value.
