Operations Analyst - Contract Position in Banking

Role Overview

Our client is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their Equities Synthetic Client Operations team. This role involves supporting complex financial products and ensuring accurate transaction processing in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. Collaborating closely with Sales, Trading, Compliance, and Prime Brokerage teams, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and managing risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate workflow enhancements and technological initiatives aimed at improving efficiency while minimizing risk exposure.
• Contribute to compliance reporting and assist in implementing firm-wide risk management strategies.
• Ensure precision in trade booking systems and promptly address any discrepancies or exceptions.
• Work in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Compliance to provide timely and effective client support.
• Identify and drive improvements across the trade lifecycle processes.
• Support the management of operational and reputational risk according to market standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a closely related discipline.
• Up to one year of experience including internships or entry-level roles in finance preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Technologically adept with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team orientation.
