Operational Excellence Partner

Role Summary

The Operational Excellence Partner is responsible for developing, identifying, documenting, analyzing, and enhancing general business processes through the use of proven methodologies aimed at increasing efficiency, boosting productivity, lowering costs, enhancing product quality, and elevating customer satisfaction.

Core Duties

• Create detailed documentation to facilitate analysis and improvement efforts including business requirements, functional specifications, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance and compliance protocols along with measurable performance standards.
• Support the creation of training and change management materials and lead activities that help embed new processes and procedures.
• Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen techniques within non-manufacturing environments to drive operational gains.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and informal supervision to less experienced staff members while overseeing processes and programs.
• Independently manage typical business challenges within established policies and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
• Understand business interdependencies and influence long-term tactical decisions through expert knowledge in operational excellence.

Candidate Profile

• Proven deep expertise in a functional area related to process and quality improvement.
• Ability to work autonomously on most tasks with minimal guidance; effectively seek assistance on non-routine challenges.
• Demonstrated capability to lead and influence junior professionals, frontline teams, and administrative personnel to achieve performance goals.
• Strong understanding of operational priorities and the ability to adapt departmental plans to address resource or operational constraints.
