Role Overview
We are expanding and looking for experienced Class A CDL Support Drivers who prioritize safety, professionalism, and dependable execution. The role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries, operational preparedness, and supporting transportation across multiple regions, especially during high-demand situations such as storm response.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to support logistics, deliveries, and field activities.
- Assist in transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to project locations.
- Maintain precise delivery logs, mileage records, and compliance paperwork.
- Communicate efficiently with dispatchers, managers, and colleagues about routes, delays, or updates.
- Provide support during emergency or high-volume periods, including storm response efforts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and corporate safety regulations and best practices.
- Exemplify professionalism in all customer and team interactions.
Schedule and Travel
- Regular work schedule includes home time every other weekend.
- Flexible availability is required due to potential schedule changes from storm activity, workloads, or emergency deployments.
- Expect overnight travel during significant projects or weather-related mobilizations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Residency within the Mid-West region is required.
- Possession of a valid Class A CDL with a clean, verifiable driving record.
- Capability to operate vehicles for extended durations, occasionally under challenging conditions.
- Strong reliability, effective communication abilities, and steadfast commitment to safety.
- Physical ability to lift, load, and transport materials up to weight limits specified by the company.
