Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Administrator to manage and program Mainframe zOS environments including hardware, operating systems, storage, and system software both from IBM and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold the technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap for host platform systems.
- Lead project management initiatives related to host platform infrastructure.
- Design, install, configure, and deploy host infrastructure and solutions within the organization.
- Provide project leadership and Level 3 support for host platform operations.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and updates to host platforms.
- Apply and deploy changes as required to maintain platform stability.
- Identify risks, implement controls, support audits, and conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) for the host platform.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with Mainframe operating systems such as TSO, JES2, ISPF, and RACF.
- Strong knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) scripting.
Salary Information
The compensation for this position ranges from $5000 to $5800 per month.
