Role Overview
We seek a skilled Lawyer or Associate to join our Brisbane Dispute Resolution group. This role offers an exceptional chance for experienced commercial litigators specializing or interested in financial services, regulatory litigation, insolvency, or reconstruction to work alongside partners Melinda Smith and Michael Vickery.
Primary duties involve providing strategic legal counsel to notable clients like regulators, leading financial institutions, and prominent insolvency practitioners, focusing on financial services litigation, regulatory enforcement, and insolvency-related matters. The position exposes you to sophisticated cases, fostering deep expertise and industry prominence.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1-2 years of post-admission experience, ideally in commercial litigation with insolvency and restructuring advisory and litigation exposure.
- Demonstrates initiative, strong commercial understanding, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills with a capacity to nurture enduring relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
