Role Overview

The Laminator is a full-time, onsite position based in Breaux Bridge, LA, primarily working day shifts from Monday to Friday. The role involves applying fiberglass and resin materials precisely during pool manufacturing to create high-quality final products. A key responsibility is using specialized hand rollers to evenly distribute resin, eliminating air pockets and ensuring full adhesion. Trimming excess materials to maintain product specifications is also essential. This role demands sustained concentration, physical endurance, and efficiency to keep up with the production pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply fiberglass and resin composites by rolling materials to meet quality and saturation standards, removing trapped air.
• Use MIL gauges to measure material thickness and ensure compliance with production specifications.
• Trim pool copings and extra materials accurately to specified dimensions.
• Prepare and stage all required materials for pool shell production.
• Place reinforcement and core materials exactly as per design and process requirements.
• Inspect and ready parts before layup to ensure quality standards are met.
• Lay woven mat and core materials precisely and efficiently.
• Complete all necessary quality assurance and production documentation forms.
• Adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in training other staff on proper rolling, mat-laying, and laminating methods as assigned.
• Consistently wear appropriate personal protective equipment and comply with safety, health, and environmental protocols.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and follow both verbal and written instructions, including work orders and safety documentation.
• Willingness and flexibility to adjust to changing production schedules, including overtime and priority shifts.
• Capability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks over extended periods during shifts.
• Openness to work overtime and modifications in schedule as manufacturing needs change.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $18.45 to $20.16 based on factors such as location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
• A $1,000 sign-on bonus specific to this role.
