Job Location and Type

This role is based in Sandringham, Johannesburg and is a fixed-term, full-time position focused on providing IT support.

Role Purpose

The primary goal is to offer end-user IT assistance by troubleshooting technical problems, maintaining the hardware, software, and network infrastructure, and ensuring seamless daily IT system operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Timely response to and resolution of support tickets within defined service level targets.
Assist in ordering hardware and managing minimum inventory levels.
Set up equipment and software for new employees.
Assemble and disassemble PCs including reinstallation of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
Stay informed on evolving technology and learn new systems implemented by the company.
Network multifunction printers (MFPs).
Troubleshoot telephony issues.
Provide Wi-Fi support to residents and staff.
Handle the relocation of IT equipment and perform tasks requiring the use of ladders for accessing elevated switches.

Qualifications and Experience

Required certifications include A+ and Network+.
Possession of a valid driver's license and personal transportation.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows operating systems.
2 to 3 years' experience working in a comparable IT support position.
Proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications and familiarity with Microsoft 365.
Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend work.
