Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Front-End Developer to join our remote-first team. This role involves assisting with the design, development, and upkeep of modern web interfaces. You will collaborate with talented developers, designers, and product managers to create responsive and accessible digital products while growing your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Create responsive and mobile-optimized web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Help develop reusable UI components and engaging user interfaces.
• Translate UI/UX concepts into clean, functional, and responsive web applications.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and usability.
• Test compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
• Debug issues, resolve front-end performance problems, and maintain existing applications.
• Support feature implementation and improve user experience.
• Conduct routine code updates and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product teams.
• Engage in Agile workflows such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate technical progress and challenges effectively.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Engage in testing, quality assurance, and fixing bugs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience in front-end or web development including internships, freelance work, academic, or personal projects.
• Basic knowledge of responsive web design and Git version control.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), with introductory experience in React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, browser developer tools, debugging techniques, web accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio or personal web development projects.
• Experience with TypeScript and state management tools like Redux or Context API.
• Knowledge of design collaboration software such as Figma.
• Familiarity with build tools like Vite, Webpack, npm, or Yarn.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
