Position Overview
We are looking for an accomplished Java Lead Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience who can provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and spearhead the design and delivery of scalable software systems. The role involves hands-on development, architectural decision-making, and continuous process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and coach developers, nurturing a culture centered on learning and technical mastery.
- Lead architecture discussions and contribute to design choices ensuring adherence to engineering standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adopting XP methodologies.
- Perform code reviews, manage debugging, and optimize software performance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement impactful solutions for clients.
- Manage complete project delivery ensuring quality, scalability, and robustness.
- Identify and implement process optimizations and best engineering practices.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and make informed technical decisions adapting to changing requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Java versions 11, 17, or 21, Spring Boot, and object-oriented programming.
- Proficient in test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular, with full-stack capabilities preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud environments – AWS, cloud-native app architectures, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Exposure to Agentic AI systems and AI productivity tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Solid grounding in Clean Architecture and SOLID design principles.
- Practical knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL; NoSQL database experience is advantageous.
