IT Systems Administrator

Job Description

Responsible for managing and maintaining Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring regular patching, monitoring system performance, and overall system health. Oversee and administer Active Directory, Group Policy management, DNS, DHCP, and domain services to maintain seamless network operations. Support Microsoft 365 platforms, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and user account management. Handle user provisioning, access controls, and the entire identity lifecycle to safeguard systems. Implement and enforce system security protocols, including Microsoft 365 security policies and identity protection. Continuously monitor the availability of infrastructure, diagnose, and resolve server, application, and authentication problems. Keep thorough documentation related to system configurations and operational procedures. Assist in backup, recovery, and disaster preparedness plans. Participate in infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and ongoing improvements.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure administration covering virtual machine management and cloud identity integration.
• Experience in domain and web management such as DNS upkeep and hosting environments.
• Familiarity with Linux server administration.
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 security capabilities, including conditional access and security policies.
• Experience working within hybrid environments combining on-premises infrastructure and cloud services.
• At least five years' experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar capacity.
• Strong practical skills in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing Microsoft 365.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to infrastructure issues.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant Microsoft technology certifications are advantageous.
