IT Operations Executive

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Operations Executive based in Pune to oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. This role encompasses managing internet connectivity, computers including desktops and laptops, and other technological equipment to ensure smooth operations within the office. The position requires addressing software and hardware malfunctions, preserving network stability, and delivering consistent IT support to all staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and resolve issues related to internet connections, Wi-Fi, and LAN configurations.
• Install, configure, and perform updates on desktops, laptops, and relevant hardware and software.
• Deliver technical support for problems involving systems, networks, and printers to employees.
• Administer IT assets to maintain optimal system performance.
• Execute regular system backups and keep antivirus software current.
• Liaise with service providers and vendors for equipment repairs, replacements, and managing Annual Maintenance Contracts.
• Maintain detailed records of IT equipment, user accounts, and software licenses.
• Prepare and onboard new systems for newly hired employees efficiently.
• Ensure prompt troubleshooting to minimize system downtime.
• Provide support for video conferencing tools, CCTV systems, and email setup when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in IT support encompassing hardware/software troubleshooting and network administration.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and knowledge of networking and system configurations.
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple technical issues with efficiency.

Additional Skills Preferred

• Basic familiarity with server administration and firewall management.
• Experience working with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Knowledge of data backup methodologies and IT security standards.
