Investment Associate

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized and highly successful investment firm boasting over 40 years of distinguished expertise, is seeking to onboard an Investment Associate or Senior Associate into their Asset-Based Finance (ABF) analysis team. This team oversees and evaluates their ABF portfolio with a comprehensive approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements and maintain active communication with companies to monitor the performance of Asset-Based Finance trades.
• Engage with various asset financing products including Asset Based Finance, Asset-Backed Securitisation, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), and Asset-Based Lending.
• Perform in-depth investment analysis to support portfolio decisions.
• Develop financial models and perform sensitivity analyses to predict performance under various scenarios.
• Compile and prepare quarterly portfolio reviews and deliver presentations to Investment Committees.

Candidate Profile

• Possess between 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in fields such as investment banking, infrastructure, real estate, aircraft leasing, corporate finance, private equity, transaction services, or restructuring.
• Demonstrate an excellent academic record.
• ACA or CFA qualifications are preferable but not mandatory.
• Exhibit strong commercial insight with thorough knowledge of financial statements and advanced financial modelling skills.
