Role Overview

We are recruiting a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent to work within the Life Department in Nairobi County, Kenya at Prudential Kenya. This role requires identifying and engaging potential clients, elucidating policy alternatives, and suggesting suitable life insurance solutions aligned with personal and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively prospect and connect with potential clients regarding insurance policies.
• Explain various life insurance product offerings to meet individual and corporate needs.
• Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients, providing ongoing service and support.
• Address client inquiries and assist with claims processing when necessary.
• Maintain strong client relationships through continuous communication and service excellence.
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve set targets.
• Stay informed on product developments and comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the agency positively in all engagements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven expertise in insurance sales, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
• Thorough knowledge of life and general insurance products.
• Willingness to work for commission-based earnings.
• Basic financial literacy, including understanding premium calculations and policy features.
• Strong customer service skills focused on clear communication and client satisfaction.
• Preferred educational background includes a diploma or degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and efficient time management.
• Prepared to work on-site and directly interact with clients within Nairobi County.
• Demonstrates ethical conduct, trustworthiness, and adherence to legal and company standards.
