Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IAM Lead responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This position demands deep domain expertise in IAM architecture, identity governance, access lifecycle management, and integration of IAM platforms across diverse environments including cloud, SaaS, and on-premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and execution of IAM strategy, architecture, and governance while aligning with enterprise security goals.
- Oversee IAM functions such as identity lifecycle management, Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes, RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, PAM, and overall access governance.
- Design, review, and manage integrations including custom connectors, plugins, APIs, and workflows with enterprise applications.
- Automate processes related to identity provisioning, access approvals, de-provisioning, and access certifications.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure, security, and business units to onboard applications into the IAM framework.
- Ensure that IAM solutions comply with security policies, regulatory standards, and auditing requirements.
- Provide technical leadership during IAM platform enhancements, vendor coordination, system upgrades, and architectural decisions.
- Support IAM operations for hybrid environments consisting of cloud, SaaS, and on-premises systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 10 to 12 years of practical experience in Identity and Access Management.
- Expertise with enterprise IAM platforms such as SailPoint, IBM Security Verify Governance (IGI), Saviynt, or equivalent.
- Comprehensive understanding of identity governance, access management methodologies including RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, PAM, and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on ability to develop and customize IAM connectors, plugins, workflows, and application integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and federation technologies.
- Experience automating IAM processes via APIs, scripting, workflow engines, or orchestration tools.
- Capability to architect IAM solutions and articulate technical recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Development proficiency in programming languages like Java, C++, or similar.
- Experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs and IAM Software Development Kits (SDKs).
- Familiarity with identity services offered by cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Exposure to DevOps methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong leadership qualities, effective stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
