Hygiene Operative (Night Shift)

Role Overview

Become a valued member of the Hygiene team at South Quay, where you can develop your expertise in a practical and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous clean-as-you-go routines and uphold excellent manufacturing hygiene standards within your designated zone.
• Perform machinery hygiene inspections following established company procedures.
• Complete all cleaning and hygiene tasks as detailed on the task allocation sheet to the required standard.
• Maintain superior hygiene levels and actively engage in hygiene and food safety audits.
• Keep uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) clean, well-maintained, and properly worn at all times.
• Accurately and promptly complete all required paperwork and records.
• Maintain cleanliness in facilities including toilets, canteen, and locker rooms.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Level 2 Food Hygiene certification or equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with chemical handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
• Understanding of essential Health and Safety principles.
• Dependable team player dedicated to setting and upholding high standards.

Shift Details & Location

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM at the Grimsby site in North East Lincolnshire.
