Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR operations for Communicare Healthcare in alignment with our corporate mission and strategic goals. Communicare is a leading Irish healthcare provider renowned for delivering top-quality staffing solutions across private homes, hospitals, and residential care facilities throughout Ireland. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall HR function including employee relations, training, development, performance management, compliance, and health and safety across all sites.
- Stay updated and ensure compliance with HR employment law and regulatory changes relevant to the organization.
- Provide strategic HR guidance and implementation support to the board and senior management team.
- Lead on key HR metrics and KPI reporting to assist business decision-making.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle to appoint highly capable staff aligned with organizational needs.
- Oversee training programs by assessing continuous professional development and training requirements company-wide.
- Serve as a primary contact for managers and staff to offer advice and support on employee relations issues.
- Support and advise managers on employee relations matters ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Coordinate with external bodies to monitor employment practice trends and recommend proactive strategies.
- Develop and update HR policies in line with legal and company changes.
- Handle disciplinary, grievance, welfare cases, and coach managers appropriately.
- Design and implement communication programs to disseminate key organizational messages to employees effectively.
- Conduct training sessions for managers on HR policies, procedures, and effective people management.

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree qualification or equivalent with 5 to 10 years proven success in a senior HR management position.
- Preferably recent experience in a senior HR role within the healthcare sector.
- Track record operating as a strategic partner within senior leadership teams.
- Skillful management of a diverse range of employee and industrial relations issues independently, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and investigations.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish employment legislation and its workplace application.
- Ability to confidently advise and challenge managers in a professional manner.
- Possession of a full driver’s license due to travel requirements linked to the role.
