Role Overview

ACCPRO is looking to onboard an experienced Human Resources Consultant to spearhead the creation of an effective framework aimed at ensuring compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive. This role involves close collaboration with the HR team to scrutinize grading systems, reward policies, and governance procedures to prepare the organisation in line with forthcoming legislative demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an EU Pay Transparency Framework aligned with the company’s HR strategy and business priorities.
  • Review and evaluate grading schemas, aligning job roles with appropriate competency, capability, and responsibility standards.
  • Analyze recruitment practices, pay progression, and equal pay policies, suggesting enhancements where necessary.
  • Define governance structures, policies, and operational steps required to meet EU Pay Transparency Directive compliance.
  • Develop comprehensive implementation strategies including risk assessments, governance frameworks, and compliance guidelines.
  • Create communication and stakeholder engagement plans to raise awareness and foster adoption of the framework.
  • Prepare supportive materials such as documentation, guidelines, templates, and implementation tools.
  • Work collaboratively with HR professionals, management, and senior executives to ensure consistency and transparency throughout the organisation.

Candidate Requirements

  • A third-level qualification (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent) in disciplines such as Human Resources, Employment Law, Business, Organisational Development, or Reward Management.
  • Extensive experience in areas including HR, reward schemes, organizational development, workforce planning, job evaluation, or employment policies.
  • In-depth understanding of the EU Pay Transparency Directive alongside equal pay laws.
  • Proven track record in developing reward, competency, capability, or grading frameworks within complex organisational environments.
  • Ability to convert legislative mandates and policy requirements into actionable frameworks, governance models, and rollout plans.
  • Strong analytical thinking coupled with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
  • Experienced in partnering with senior leadership to implement strategic HR initiatives and manage organisational transformation.
  • Professional accreditation or focused training in areas like rewards, equal pay, job evaluation, or employment law is highly advantageous.

Additional Information

This is a minimum six-month contract role with potential for extension. The position is located fully onsite in Galway, Ireland. The offered remuneration is €65,000 annually.
