Human Resources Assistant

Overview

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant with a strong work ethic and background in criminal justice. This full-time onsite role focuses on performing data entry, retrieval, and searches, processing requests for various divisions and management, and providing technical support.

Primary Responsibilities

• Enter and retrieve data accurately; conduct data searches as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience in criminal justice environment highly preferred.

Additional Information

• Salary for retirees will be 2.5% less than the standard posted salary.
• The role involves no overnight travel but may require occasional day trips.
• No hazardous duty or longevity pay applies to this position.
