Role Overview and Responsibilities

The HSE Executive will be entrusted with implementing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental protocols for the data center construction project located in Neom. The candidate will adopt a proactive approach to risk control, ensure compliance with local and global safety standards, and collaborate closely with project teams to promote a secure workplace.

• Enforce company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to spot potential risks and confirm compliance.
• Monitor the safety practices of contractors and subcontractors to ensure guideline adherence.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses; document findings comprehensively and suggest corrective measures.
• Provide HSE inductions and safety training sessions for employees and site visitors.
• Keep detailed records of safety checks, incident reports, and training activities.
• Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies in obtaining permits and ensuring compliance.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Emergency Response Plans, ensuring site preparedness.
• Cultivate and promote a safety-conscious culture among all stakeholders on site.
• Compile and support preparation of monthly HSE status reports and dashboards for internal and client evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC certification or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Have at least five years of proven experience in construction safety, ideally within large-scale infrastructure or data center projects.
• Experience working within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and understanding of local Saudi safety regulations is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of international health, safety, and environmental standards, such as OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
