Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Housekeeping Supervisor position at The Country Inn's Jaipur property is responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, ensuring all are cleaned, maintained, and presented to high standards. Duties include assignment and oversight of housekeeping staff tasks, inspection of rooms and common areas, coordination of laundry services, inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens, and supporting check-in/check-out duties by ensuring room readiness. The supervisor also addresses guest feedback related to cleanliness, trains team members on procedures and safety protocols, and works with management to maintain brand standards and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven supervisory abilities including leadership, task delegation, and performance evaluation.
• Competency in housekeeping activities encompassing room cleaning, upkeep of public spaces, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
• Knowledge of laundry operations, including linen handling, equipment use, and maintaining quality.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for professional interaction with guests and collaboration with colleagues.
• Preferred experience in hospitality housekeeping supervision.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and dedication to a clean and inviting environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management, scheduling, and ideally housekeeping software.
