Job Purpose

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be an essential member of the Housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring guest rooms are impeccably clean and welcoming. Beyond performing cleaning duties, the role involves working cooperatively within the team and assisting guests to ensure their stay is memorable and pleasant.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean all areas of guest rooms, including changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, and wiping all surfaces to maintain high standards.
• Perform duties following established processes and guidelines to uphold the hotel’s superior cleanliness standards.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys fully stocked and well organized throughout shifts.
• Use cleaning materials carefully and adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Respect guest privacy and ensure their security at all times.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues discovered during cleaning to facilitate immediate resolution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in cleaning or working as a room attendant is advantageous.
• Possess friendly and warm communication skills that put both guests and colleagues at ease.
• Detail-oriented and efficient time manager who takes pride in delivering quality work.
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including moving between rooms via stairs and walkways.
• Enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
