Role Overview
The Host Community Manager position is a full-time remote role focused on establishing and nurturing the community of fitness hosts such as studios, coaches, and event organizers. Key responsibilities include onboarding new hosts, guiding them on best practices for listing events and experiences, and delivering continuous support primarily through digital channels. The manager will curate community communications with updates, FAQs, and resource materials while organizing virtual meetups and feedback sessions designed to deepen host engagement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily host interactions and activities on the platform.
- Respond promptly to host inquiries and provide clear, supportive communication.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions and guide hosts on effective usage of the platform.
- Create and manage ongoing communications including updates, FAQs, and helpful resources.
- Coordinate virtual events, including meetups and feedback sessions to strengthen host relationships.
- Collect and analyze host feedback and data to identify growth opportunities and improve host engagement.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance the host experience and increase visibility and bookings.
- Track and report key community metrics to gauge engagement and success.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven skills in community management and engaging stakeholders, with experience in building both online and offline communities.
- Competence in customer support and relationship management, capable of addressing host questions and feedback efficiently.
- Excellent communication abilities including written, verbal, and video conferencing skills, complemented by active listening.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage several host accounts and events concurrently.
- Comfort with digital tools, web platforms, social media, and data tracking systems.
- Interest or experience in fitness, wellness, or creative sectors, with enthusiasm for fostering communities.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setup, maintaining reliable internet connectivity and effective self-management.
- Relevant education or background in community management, customer success, event coordination, or related disciplines is advantageous.
