Home Delivery Driver

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. This role involves delivering groceries directly to customers, ensuring outstanding service and representing our brand as the face of the company.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe loading guidelines including heavy lifting and manual handling procedures.
• Adhere strictly to road safety and safe driving practices at all times.
• Perform routine vehicle checks before starting deliveries.
• Ensure the quality and condition of food delivered is maintained upon arrival.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging respectfully with customers.
• Assist with in-store duties as needed.
• Manage working hours independently and efficiently, with shift flexibility between 6am and 11pm.

Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude with a strong passion for customer service.
• Maintain punctuality and meet deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and awareness of road safety regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of £13.71.
