Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking dependable Home Delivery Drivers to join our team in Clacton-On-Sea. This position offers an hourly wage of £13.71 and includes benefits such as a 15% employee discount, optional health care plans, Grocery Aid support, Christmas vouchers, and a minimum of 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely following manual handling and heavy lifting procedures.
• Drive responsibly and adhere strictly to road and vehicle safety regulations.
• Conduct regular vehicle checks prior to starting routes.
• Ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service when interacting with clients.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Manage your schedule independently and maintain punctuality.
• Be flexible to work shifts that may range between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Profile

• Must possess a full driving license held for at least three years with a maximum of six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering quality customer experiences.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines reliably.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety and responsible driving.
