About the Company
Click Frenzy runs shopping events for Australian consumers and has been doing so since 2012, bringing together millions of shoppers with offers from hundreds of major retailers and brands across the country. The company is now operating under new ownership, led by the founders of Catch, Menulog and Scoopon, and has recently relaunched with a fast-moving product and brand roadmap.
The business is focused on creating an all-year shopping destination that feels engaging and enjoyable, and it is looking for a designer who wants to help shape that experience.
Role Summary
This is an in-house creative role based in Caulfield North, Melbourne, with a mostly office-based working setup. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with a team of around 15 people across marketing, technology, sales and the founders, taking ownership of a wide range of design work in a startup-style environment.
The role suits someone who is comfortable moving quickly, handling loosely defined briefs, asking the right questions, and turning rough ideas into polished output. You should enjoy variety, responsibility and a pace where things change often.
What You'll Do
- Design and adapt day-to-day marketing assets such as email creatives, social media templates and paid social campaign materials.
- Support product experience work as the platform evolves, contributing to UX-related design through hands-on iteration.
- Create campaign assets for major Australian brands and help deliver work that sponsors and partners are proud to associate with.
- Contribute to brand development as the company continues to refine and grow its own identity.
- Work independently, think through problems proactively, and push projects forward even when the brief is not fully detailed.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and company founders in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.
Who This Role Suits
This opportunity is aimed at a multidisciplinary designer who thrives in an environment with startup energy, broad responsibilities and a strong need for initiative. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, able to work without every detail being provided upfront, and confident handling both brand and digital product work.
Tools and Approach
Figma is expected, and the team is also looking for someone who actively uses AI tools in the design process. Curiosity around emerging technology is important, along with the ability to combine new tools with strong creative judgement and craft.
Why Join
- Join on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a possibility of extension.
- Work directly with high-calibre talent, including a manager who previously served as CMO at Afterpay.
- Collaborate with founders who have built and scaled well-known Australian consumer technology businesses.
- Help shape a recognised ecommerce brand during a significant growth phase.
- Take on meaningful responsibility from the outset.
- Enjoy the pace of a small team with quick decisions and visible weekly impact.
Additional Information
The company is looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in an environment where responsibilities may overlap and evolve. A strong background in retail and ecommerce design is essential, and the business values people who bring no ego and a willingness to lean in wherever needed.
