About the Role

We are looking for a recent graduate specialized in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or Analytics eager to launch their career in optimization and business analytics. This entry-level analyst position involves applying mathematical modeling, data analysis, and optimization strategies to resolve complex business challenges. No prior work experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided to develop your skills in operations research, business process optimization, and decision support.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, clean, and analyze operational and business datasets
Assist in crafting mathematical and optimization models aimed at enhancing business workflows
Contribute to projects involving forecasting, scheduling, resource distribution, and capacity planning
Evaluate business performance metrics to pinpoint areas for operational upgrades
Prepare informative reports, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations
Support scenario analysis and develop decision-support models
Work with extensive data to uncover trends and insights related to operations
Participate in supply chain, logistics, production, or workforce planning initiatives
Document analytic methods and summarize project outcomes
Collaborate across teams to boost operational productivity
Help validate analytical models and underlying business assumptions
Keep abreast of the latest trends in analytic tools and optimization methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data or Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
Recent graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience considered
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities
Good grasp of statistics and optimization fundamentals
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail complemented by logical thinking
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively
Enthusiasm for learning new analytical tools and technologies

Preferred Skills

Basic experience with Python, R, or SQL programming
