Headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Soccer Stars extends its services across various nearby communities including Vernon Hills, Lincolnshire, Wheeling, Arlington Heights, and others.

Role Overview

The General Manager will spearhead strategic leadership and oversee all facets of the Soccer Stars enterprise, ranging from business expansion, operational management, sales and marketing, to customer relations and partnership maintenance. This position is accountable for daily operational management, quality assurance of programs, fostering business growth, and cultivating a culture of excellence that benefits children, families, and partners alike.

Responsibilities

Drive business development by establishing partnerships with preschools, daycare centers, schools, parks and recreation departments, community centers, and sports venues to boost revenue and expand business presence.
Set and pursue revenue and enrollment goals across classes, camps, clinics, and seasonal events.
Innovate programs to create income opportunities through birthday parties, private lessons, camps, and special functions.
Handle partnership negotiations and facility agreements effectively.
Build and maintain robust relationships with educational and community organizations to foster sustained growth.
Analyze operational data, enrollment trends, revenues, and KPIs to identify improvement potentials.
Represent Soccer Stars at local events, school fairs, and festivals to enhance brand visibility and business prospects.
Lead daily operational and administrative activities across multiple locations within the territory.
Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and assess coaching staff to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of programs.
Manage scheduling, staffing, and resources to optimize program execution and operational efficiency.
Oversee program logistics such as class timetable, facility coordination, and equipment management.
Monitor program standards and conduct regular quality assessments across sites.
Collaborate with marketing for promotional campaigns, referral initiatives, and special offers to drive enrollment.
Provide in-field coaching assistance when necessary to uphold program standards and support staff.
Implement process enhancements to improve operational flow, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, risk management protocols, and local regulations.
Maintain superior program quality, safety assurance, and exceptional customer service to maximize satisfaction and retention.
Forge and nurture strong connections with school and community administrators, childcare directors, camp leaders, and facility partners.
Deliver timely, friendly communications regarding program updates including rescheduling and cancellations.
Manage and swiftly resolve customer concerns to ensure outstanding experiences for all stakeholders.
Serve as the key contact for coaches, providing regular support, feedback, and recognition of achievements.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Education, Hospitality, Recreation, or related fields is preferred.
Minimum three years of experience in sales, business development, and revenue enhancement roles.
One to three years of operational management experience within service-oriented organizations.
Background working with schools, childcare centers, community groups, or youth programs is advantageous.
Experience or interest in soccer or sports is desirable but not mandatory.
Possession of a personal vehicle for travel requirements.
