About the Role
Panasonic Digital Asia Pacific (PDAP) acts as the IT solutions and professional services partner for 63 Panasonic Group companies across the Asia Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand. The organization works across seven core business lines and supports Panasonic’s transformation agenda through IT leadership, portfolio oversight, solution delivery, and IT operations. Its regional delivery model is backed by Centres of Excellence in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
In this position, you will shape and execute the IT service and platform strategy in line with business priorities. As the service owner, you will lead service management, core system architecture, and major initiatives while ensuring strong service quality, effective project delivery, and a positive customer experience. The role also includes building team capability within the Centre of Excellence, overseeing financial performance through annual planning and cost control, and partnering closely with stakeholders, the Project Management Office, and the AMS team to deliver cost-efficient IT services that support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Build an IT strategy roadmap based on business direction and policy, and work with stakeholders to define and measure the business value it should create.
- Lead the service organization and translate strategic priorities into service program activities and targets.
- Own the overall design and architecture of the core system platform.
- Head a distributed team of professional services experts and manage the day-to-day service operation.
- Ensure service planning and execution meet SLA targets and internal customer satisfaction KPIs.
- Monitor major projects together with the Project Management Office as the service owner.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office to maintain project quality, delivery timelines, and cost discipline.
- Structure teams appropriately for service and project needs.
- Create career development plans and strengthen the expertise of the Centre of Excellence.
- Prepare the annual business plan and manage expenses carefully to maintain a healthy P&L.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience managing professional consulting services and delivering IT services for both internal and external customers.
- Proven people management experience, with a strong commitment to building high-performing teams.
- Deep exposure to CRM and e-commerce environments, especially Salesforce and Adobe Commerce.
- Strong background in BI and data analytics, low-code platforms, and AI-led automation and innovation.
- Experience supporting supply chain processes through IT services, including logistics, procurement, and demand planning.
- Strong business judgement, organized working style, and a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural leadership skills for managing across multiple geographic markets.
- Proactive, accountable, and able to show initiative and leadership.
- Resilient under pressure and focused on outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
- Able to collaborate effectively in diverse teams.
- Professional English and Mandarin communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with IT management or leadership experience, or a degree in Information Technology.
- Willingness to travel seasonally, around 20–30%, across Southeast Asia and North-East Asia.
