General Help - Utility Worker

Position Overview

Join Aramark Canada as a General Utility Worker where your main focus will be to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, equipment, and work environments. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, kitchen utensils, and equipment to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Keep dishwashing stations, including three compartment sinks and adjacent areas, clean and orderly.
• Inspect equipment regularly to confirm proper operation and cleanliness, reporting any malfunctions or issues to management.
• Perform light maintenance and custodial duties as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and consistently maintain a positive attitude with guests, clients, co-workers, and customers.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure the security of company assets at all times.

Candidate Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Ability to observe safety protocols especially regarding handling hazardous chemicals.
• Willingness and availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands and Requirements

This position may involve activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended periods of walking and standing. It also requires wearing uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
