General Help - Full Time

About the Role

As a General Help team member, you will contribute to smooth daily operations by carrying out various duties including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and communal spaces by performing housekeeping tasks.
• Support food service activities such as preparing food items, setting up and clearing chairs and tables, delivering meal trays to residents, serving meals, dishwashing, and keeping the kitchen area clean.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, report any injuries or hazards to supervisors promptly, and comply with other management requests.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a valid Food Handler Certificate or recognized provincial equivalent is mandatory.
• Prior experience in housekeeping and food services is advantageous.
• Experience in healthcare environments or long-term care facilities is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Proficient in English—both spoken and written—with the capability to comprehend and follow instructions.
