Frontend Developer (React)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer specializing in React.js to join our remote team on a contract basis. This role involves creating responsive and user-friendly web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch products.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications utilizing React.js alongside modern JavaScript standards.
• Work collaboratively with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product leadership to implement quality features.
• Convert wireframes and design visuals into engaging, accessible web interfaces.
• Ensure applications perform well across different browsers and are optimized for speed and scalability.
• Produce clean, reusable, and well-documented code adhering to established best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and support the growth of less experienced developers.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive practical experience building web applications using React.js and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain responsive, user-centered interfaces.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork.
• Proficiency in debugging, optimizing performance, and ensuring browser compatibility.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

Additional Information

• Contract type position allowing 10 to 40 hours per week commitment.
• Compensation ranges from $30 to $90 per hour.
• This is a fully remote role based in the United Kingdom.
