Role Overview

We are inviting applications for a Front-End Developer to join our expanding technology team at NobleOak’s Sydney office. This position is offered as a 6-month contract, although a permanent full-time role is also available. You will work closely with the Technical Development Lead within a compact, high-achieving team responsible for evolving a key digital platform that serves NobleOak and our partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing responsive, modern, and accessible user interfaces with Angular and TypeScript.
• Converting business needs and designs into robust, production-ready software.
• Integrating with both internal and partner APIs to ensure reliable, scalable features.
• Contributing to feature development within a shared multi-tenant platform architecture while adhering to established engineering standards.
• Producing clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.
• Engaging in code reviews to uphold high engineering standards and contribute to a culture of quality.
• Utilising AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity while maintaining code ownership and quality.
• Working collaboratively with developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
• Supporting testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing platform improvements.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Proven commercial experience in building production web apps using Angular and TypeScript.
• Sound understanding of front-end basics, including HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Experience working with REST API integrations and modern web architectures.
• Competence in writing automated tests and promoting sound quality engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with white-label, multi-tenant, or themeable applications is highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong commitment to software quality.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, server-side rendering, and performance optimization is advantageous.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• A degree or qualification in Software Development, IT, or similar disciplines.
