Role Overview
Our client is looking to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer to join on a full-time, remote basis. This position entails deploying AI-driven solutions and integrating them with enterprise clients, ensuring their smooth adoption and optimal performance. The engineer will collaborate closely with multiple departments to solve technical challenges encountered in live production setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure AI models and underlying infrastructure tailored to enterprise customer needs to guarantee scalability and performance standards.
- Rapidly diagnose and fix technical system problems to reduce downtime and uphold operational stability.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to collect feedback and enhance deployed solutions according to client requirements.
- Document deployed architectures and processes to facilitate maintenance and support future rollouts.
- Offer clients technical guidance through training sessions, sharing best practices, and proactive assistance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in deploying and scaling AI and machine learning models within production environments.
- Strong command of Python programming and experience utilizing cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities focused on identifying and resolving sophisticated technical issues.
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, alongside continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows, is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills to engage productively with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
