Financial Analyst

About the Role

An undisclosed international financial institution located in Frankfurt am Main is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This position offers a unique chance for finance professionals with previous experience in the financial services industry to expand their skills across accounting, financial control, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting tasks and assist with periodic financial reporting.
• Support financial and operational controls including product control and management reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and contribute to procurement processes.
• Assist in internal and external audit activities as well as tax-related processes.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting requirements, including IFR/WpIG and Bundesbank reports.
• Help prepare financial and regulatory disclosures.
• Collaborate closely with the finance team to streamline processes and ensure precise financial reporting.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 3 years of accounting or finance experience within a financial institution.
• Experienced in supporting financial reporting, accounting operations or financial control functions.
• Knowledge of regulatory or financial reporting standards is a plus.
• Proficient in both English and German at a business level.
• Exhibit a proactive and independent problem-solving approach.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and well-organized with consistent accuracy in work delivery.

Additional Details

• Located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
• Employment is part-time (50-70%) with a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of three office days weekly.
• The salary range is €45,000 to €60,000 per year, based on a full-time equivalent and depending on experience.
• The initial contract is a fixed-term of two years with potential for permanent employment thereafter.
• Start date is anticipated from 1 December 2026.
